I have
been a member of RPCUG for over 17 years. Started Project PC ReNew (www.pcrenew.org)
RPCUG. Helped Westchester PC Users Group start the same project. Run
many workshops and presentations of software and various programs
related to computers,and issues surrounding their personal use.
Several years ago Yvette Marin recommmended me to APCUG to run and
revamp the Community Service committee. We had discussions about
this and I was not able to committ to the time I felt it would take
to do the proper job. I am very interested in helping to
revitalize the Pc Users groups as they can serve there local
communites well. National support and guidance can make the
difference between a users group and a well run, educating and
community service oriented group. I have had contact over the years
with other people at APCUG and feel that I can help make the
difference for future growth within APCUG.
