The 2007 APCUG Newsletter Contest attracted 41 groups that submitted their newsletters. Their newsletters were very good and were a source of great ideas and great information for anyone reading them. A list of all groups who entered the contest can be found at the end of this article. They were divided into three groups. Those groups with <100 members were the small groups. Those groups with >100 members and <300 members were placed in the medium group. Those with >300 were placed in the large group. Judging them was a real task for the judges. In some the scores were only hundredths of a point apart. Thank you for taking the time to do the extra effort for entering the contest. All participants received a certificate of appreciation that was presented at the convention. It was mailed out after the Convention to those who were unable to pick them up at the Convention. 1st Place winners received a large plaque. 2nd Place winners received a medium plaque. 3rd Place winners received a small plaque. I encourage everyone to begin planning now to enter the 2008 contest. A special thank you to the committee members for their hard work and help in getting the contest organized and completed.
