The APCUG Spouse/Guest Activity Program Logistics and Administration

 

The APCUG Spouse/Guest Activity Program is designed to provide an entertaining and exciting outlet for guests, friends, and spouses of user group members while they are participating in training and educational roundtables during the APCUG Annual Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 3rd and 4th, 2006.

 

Registration and Costs:

ADVANCE SIGNUP IS REQUIRED

 

All guests/spouses should first register for the APCUG Annual Conference through the APCUG website.  Guests/spouses after registering for the conference can participate in all activities of this program at no additional cost, plus receive conference bags and special goodies designed for the corresponding events.  They are also entitled to participate in all the meals and vendor events of the conference.

 

Those not registering for the conference may participate in the activities on a space available basis for the following fees:

 

      Las Vegas and Red Rock Canyon Tour                              $50.00

      Fashion Show Mall and Caesar Forum Shopping                $15.00

 

      Deadline for registering for these activities is December 15. 2005

Answer yes to the question that asks are you registering for the spouse/guest program.

Tuesday January 3rd, 2006

 

Deluxe Las Vegas City and Red Rock Canyon Tour

 

     This is a fun tour, not to be missed!  See the famous Strip and downtown Las Vegas.  Your driver-guide will tell you about the infamous founders, current entrepreneurs, and the visionaries who transformed this railroad stop in the desert into the Entertainment Capitol of the World.

     Visit Ethel M Chocolate Factory and botanical Garden and the Elvis-A-Rama, plus a delicious buffet luncheon at one of Las Vegas’ historic downtown hotel/casinos.

     After lunch, the tour continues through Summerlin.  A short 30 min drive and we arrive at Red Rock canyon.  We’ll stop at the Visitor’s center and then proceed along this 13-mile scenic route of southern Nevada’s second most popular sightseeing destination.  Finally, we’ll make 2 additional stops so that you can take photos of the magnificent Red rock Cliffs.

     We will rotate a shuttle between the Stardust Hotel, Fashion Show Mall and The Forum shops at Caesars.

     The now nearly 2 million-square-foot center boasts the world's most powerful retail line-up with seven anchors, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Dillard's, Robinsons-May and two new-to-Nevada stores, Bloomingdale's Home and Nordstrom. The center's list of more than 200 stores also includes more than 40 stores that are firsts for Nevada.

 

The Forum Shops at Caesars

      The Forum Shops at Caesars is Las Vegas’ premier retail, dining and entertainment destination, featuring more than 160 boutiques and shops as well as 13 restaurants and specialty food shops .The forum shops replicate the grandeur of Rome at the height of its glory. Don’t miss the Indoor sky, and the Atlantis show in the Festival fountain every hour on the hour
