Hank Drayton, a longtime member of the Seniors Computer Group, was the guest speaker at the December 2004 Rancho Bernardo Community Computer Club (RBCCC) meeting (in the San Diego CA area), and his outstanding performance reflects great credit on him, the Seniors Computer Group (SCG), and on your advocacy of Groups Helping Groups.

Hank gives presentations at our SCG on a variety of topics, but he is especially noted for his classes on the use of spreadsheets, use of Quicken for on-line banking, tracking stocks on the web, and downloading stock prices. At this meeting, Hank explained and demonstrated to members of the RBCCC some interesting and useful approaches for evaluating their investments by using a spreadsheet and information from the Internet.

I have been attending RBCCC monthly meetings for more than five years, and this was the best of many fine presentations. As a result of Hank’s presentation, I expect many in the audience will adopt new ways of evaluating their investments.

The Rancho Bernardo Community Computer Club recently joined the Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG) and this presentation by Hank is an illustration of what member groups can do to support each other.

Members of both groups are giving congratulations to Hank for this example of Seniors Helping Seniors and, at a higher level, Member Groups of APCUG helping Member Groups of APCUG.
