APCUG Annual Convention Returns to The Riviera Hotel & Casino

The 2008 Annual Convention of the Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG) will be late Thursday afternoon, January 3rd to late Sunday morning, January 6th. The 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will start after our Convention on Monday, January 7th and run until Thursday, January 10th. We will again be meeting at The Riviera Hotel & Casino near the Las Vegas Convention Center, where part of CES is held.

Later this summer, registration information will be posted on the APCUG website (http://www.apcug.net). There will also be information sent via e-mail, the NOOZ that the advisors send out and snail mail.

APCUG realizes that our attendees can find cheaper hotels and even cheaper rates at the Convention hotel than what we can offer. However, APCUG strongly encourages you to stay at The Riviera under our group code. By staying there, you will be helping us keep our costs down. The hotel provides free meeting space based on the number of room nights that are booked. Your registration fees only cover a portion of our costs. This year, by staying at The Riviera, you may win a free upgrade to a suite. Watch for details.

Reservation Deadline December 12, 2007 The 2007 Annual Convention was held at The Riviera and the reviews were very positive. Many volunteers and staff who worked in 2007 will be there for 2008.
